This winter’s refusal to give up the ghost is wreaking havoc on the daffodils and crocuses. Possibly the tulips as well, although I haven’t checked on them.

There was also a hedgehog pancake (which did NOT get stuck, unlike the moose) but I forgot to take a photo before I ate it.
Also, if like me you were wondering whatever happened to that leaky faucet from the other day, it now looks like this. I guess it won’t be leaking again until the weather warms up a bit.

I was doing a survey on happiness, and they asked about a purchase that made you happy. It could be anything. On the whole, I think this is probably one of my happiest purchases- meet my $5 pizza pans. ($5 for the set.) They get a lot of use.

If you don’t like Mockingjay, tough. I’ve been waiting for ages to have the matched set on my shelf. How It Feels To Be Free is a FirstReads book- will report on it when I read it. (Which will not be in the next few days. I have about a dozen interlibrary loans due back in the next week. I haven’t even started half of them yet.)

P365 takes a walk on the beach before the polar vortex returns
It’s nice today. Nice enough to walk on the beach without a parka. There was a chilly wind half the time, and then suddenly it was like someone flipped a switch and the breeze got warm. It was like spring. Except with the cheerful news that the polar vortex is making a comeback. Would this winter kindly give up the ghost already?
